Ruchin Kansal

A leader, consultant, and educator, Professor Kansal has dedicated his energies to helping organizations with growth strategy, digital business, and leadership and change.

He is a member of the faculty of the Department of Management and directs the #1 ranked Business Leadership Center, Buccino Leadership Institute at Seton Hall University. Prior, he served as the SVP and Global Head of Strategy for Digital Services at Siemens Healthineers, as Head of Business Innovation at Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals Inc., and as a management consultant with Deloitte and Capgemini/EY.

He is the co-author of Redefining Innovation: Embracing the 80-80 Rule to Ignite Growth in the Biopharmaceutical Industry; Co-Editor of In The Lead; Lead Researcher of Future of Leadership Survey; and a host of “30 Minutes” on Comcast Channel 23 Danbury, CT. He is also the Project Director of “The 5th Industrial Revolution,” a graduate-level course and a narrative project exploring the intersection of human existence, health technology, and space.

With a passion to develop future leaders, Professor Kansal founded Kansal & Company, which coaches leaders and companies to lead with purpose and with courage.

Ruchin was invited to the Obama White House to share best practices for engaging patients in research in support of the Presidential Precision Medicine initiative. He was recognized with the Top 40 Healthcare Transformers Award by Medical, Marketing & Media in 2016, and Boehringer Ingelheim President's Award for developing the company's first Patient Engagement Strategy.

He is a member of the Board of Trustees for Cyrenius H. Booth Library, Newtown, CT, and The Ganesha Group (TGG), a leadership development company focused on transforming specialists into special leaders.

He and his son love to restore cars for adventure travel.
