Margaret (Peg) McCormick

asco_3.pngMargaret (Peg) McCormick works with Autolus, Ltd, a clinical stage, UK based biotech company, to develop and implement their global patient advocacy relations strategy. Autolus is poised to enter phase 2 trails for several second generation Chimeric Antigen Receptor-T-cell products targeting hematologic malignancies. Peg has held numerous marketing positions in large pharmaceutical companies including Parke-Davis (now Pfizer), Roche, Novartis, and Genzyme and has worked in the area of patient advocacy relations since 2001. Along with the patient organizations she works with, Peg has implemented numerous large-scale, award winning programs aimed increasing awareness of both disease states and treatment options. Peg is also the Founder of McCormick Counseling, a nurse-psychotherapy practice serving people affected by cancer. She has served as a Board member for the Young Survival Coalition, an organization that works with young women diagnosed with breast cancer, and is currently a member of their educational advisory board. She recently presented at MS World—an organization serving people with MS- on the topic ‘Embracing Uncertainty’. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Minnesota, her MBA from the University of Pennsylvania and her Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado.
