Mr Hareesh Nair is Chief Operating Officer of Engine Biosciences, a Series A biotech based in both Singapore and the San Francisco Bay Area, with a revolutionary approach to drug discovery. Hareesh’s role as COO is to apply our recent funding to pursue development of our oncology pipeline, further our novel target and biomarker discovery programs, expand our team, and scale the technology platform, both internally and with industry and academic partners.
Hareesh prior served as Managing Director at Fosun Healthcare Holdings, the healthcare investment arm of Fosun International (0656.HK). He formerly played an investment leadership role in establishing Quadria Capital, a $1B Asian healthcare private equity investment firm, and served in board and leadership roles at SOHO Global Health, a listed Indonesian pharma group, prior to its IPO. Earlier in career, Hareesh held various operating roles in business development, finance, and engineering management at Medtronic, Gilead, and Becton Dickinson, both in Asia and the United States.
He graduated from the The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with his MBA in Health Care Management, and from MIT with his BS in Chemical Engineering.
