Mr. O’Neill is the Chairman and Founder of MLP Ventures, a family-office that invests in real estate, venture capital and company formation specializing in the internet, life sciences, and health care. MLP Ventures is run by a team of managers with deep specialty experience and focus in each of the verticals in which it invests. The team at MLP Ventures have developed thousands of apartments, over ten million square feet of office space, and a multitude of “surplus” government and corporate “brown field sites” in the northeastern United States. MLP Ventures has also invested in and founded companies in the laboratory, life sciences industry, healthcare, tech enabled human resource, and other specialty industries. MLP Ventures is located in Radnor, Pennsylvania.

Brian O’Neill spent 40 years conducting interventions on individuals suffering from addiction. Brian often worked with Jay Youtz, a professional interventionist who personally conducted over 15,000 interventions during his lifetime. During the latter end of this time period, Brian witnessed his mother struggle with cancer for over 20 years – enduring endless weeks of surgery with her at the area’s premier cancer treatment hospitals. Brian noted that, despite her prognosis and relentless surgeries, his mother was provided a meaningful degree of comfort and compassion thanks to her being housed in the hospital’s premier unit (for an added cost). He concluded that all individuals & families suffering from a mental health disorder and addiction should have the same basic human right to quality, compassionate care in a comfortable setting close to home.
Due to the lack of quality care available for individuals suffering from mental health disorder and addiction with inadequate facilities, insufficient medical care and a lack of compassion & empathy – O’Neill started a national chain of neighborhood based hospitals for addiction treatment.
