Wharton Global Health Volunteers (WGHV)



Meghna Dasgupta, WG’23 served as 2022 a Summer Associate at McKinsey & Company. She earned her BA from U.C. Berkeley, majoring in Computer Science and Economics. Prior to Wharton, Meghna worked at McKinsey & Company on projects across the technology, healthcare, and retail sectors with a focus on marketing and sales strategy. Over the next year at Wharton, she will serve as a Leadership Fellow and as co-president of the Global Health Volunteers and Wharton Fintech clubs.

Jasmine Zhang, WG’23 is a second-year student majoring in health care management. Prior to Wharton, she spent several years working at Oliver Wyman in the Health and Life Sciences practice with healthcare clients on strategic and transformation projects. She also recently interned as a Summer Associate at Genentech, working on the Ophthalmology Marketing team. She was very excited to be part of the WGHV board and part of the team working on the Kasha project in her first year and is looking forward to joining WGHV as one of the Co-Presidents in 2023.

Deva Saxena, WG’23 was a Summer Associate at Allen & Co in Investment Banking. Prior to his MBA, he was an Associate at Kearney working primarily across telecom and media verticals, with a focus on PE due diligences and new technology roll-out strategies. He earned his BA (English Lit) and LLB from UNSW, Sydney. Over the next year at Wharton, he will serve as an Admissions and Communications Fellow, hold leadership roles in the Finance, Media/Communications and Beer Clubs, and TA an undergraduate Political Sciences class.

Dolapo Salawu, WG’23 is a second year MBA/MA student at the Wharton School and the Lauder Institute. Prior to Wharton, he worked in investment banking and private equity in London, UK and Lagos, Nigeria. He is currently completing a private equity internship at Brookfield Asset Management in their New York Office. Over the next year at Wharton, Dolapo will be co-chairing the Wharton PEVC conference as well as serving as the Co-President for the Wharton Graduate 1Gen Club. In addition to these, he will be serving on the Board of the Real Estate Club and the Wharton African Student Association as VP of Alumni Relations.

Shubha Jain, WG’23 pursued a Bachelor's in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and earned a Master's in Economics from UIUC. Prior to Wharton, Shubha worked at Deloitte where she focused on technological, operational, and strategic transformations for technology clients. She interned as a product manager with AWS this summer, focusing on product vision and pricing strategies. During this year at Wharton, she will serve as the co-president for the Storytellers Club, which fosters a community of authentic connections at the school.

Moshe (Moses) Emilio Lavi, WG’23 is a rising second-year student at the Wharton School of Business and the Lauder Institute of the University of Pennsylvania, pursuing a dual-degree MBA and MA in International Studies. He is a Friends of Israel MBA Fellow, a Lauder Institute Fellow, and a Carleton College Alumni Business Lofgren Fellow. He interned as a summer management consulting associate at Kearney in NYC. He earned his BA from Carleton College, majoring in Modern European History and Political Science/International Relations, and his MA in Tel Aviv University in Political Science. Prior to Wharton, Moshe served in the Israel Defense Force for six years, honorably discharged as a Captain, followed by a career in an Israel-based market research firm as a manager and a director, specializing in a client-facing role in aerospace, defense, and public sector work. Over the next year at Wharton, he is expected to serve as a Non-Profit Board Fellow, Student Life Fellow, and Lauder Admissions Fellow, in addition to various club leadership capacities, such as a Co-President of the Veterans Club.
