Stephanie J. Underwood is Vice President at Phillips DiPisa, a national healthcare executive search firm based in Boston.  She has 25 years of experience in healthcare search and is estimated to have placed more than 300 executives in a variety of healthcare settings including integrated delivery systems, community hospitals, children’s hospitals, academic medical centers, managed care organizations and physician organizations.

As a retained executive search consultant, Stephanie frequently advises and coaches healthcare executives on career matters from resume building to preparing for the interview, to compensation negotiation.  Her work with search committees and hiring managers ranges from creating position specifications to candidate development to final negotiation and onboarding.

Prior to her career in executive search, Stephanie worked in hospitals and health systems as a marketing communications specialist.

Stephanie is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Louisiana Tech University. She lives in Wayne, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia, and is originally from New Orleans.
