Ryan Wesley Brown is a Senior Associate in the Duane Morris Health Law Practice Group. He advises health care providers, facilities, and businesses on a wide range of regulatory matters. His practice focuses on helping clients navigate complex issues related to reimbursement, licensure, privacy compliance, and federal and state fraud and abuse laws. Ryan has extensive experience representing hospitals and other providers in administrative appeals, with a particular emphasis on licensure appeals and Medicaid Disproportionate Share Hospital (DSH) appeals.

In addition to his regulatory work, Ryan counsels clients through high-stakes transactional matters, including complex changes of ownership and control. He brings a practical, solutions-oriented approach to each engagement, grounded in a deep understanding of the evolving health care landscape.

He earned his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School, where he served as Conventions Editor of the Vanderbilt Law Review. He graduated magna cum laude from Muhlenberg College.

Victoria Hawekotte is an Associate in Duane Morris’s Health Law Practice Group. Victoria earned her law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and received a Master of Bioethics degree from the University of Pennsylvania’s Perlman School of Medicine.
