Raegan McDonald-Mosley, MD, MPH, FACOG

Raegan_M-M_headshot_1.jpgDr. Raegan McDonald-Mosley is the chief executive officer of Power to Decide. In this role, she works with her amazing team to improve reproductive well-being for all people by providing trusted information, expanding access to quality services, and catalyzing culture change. 

Previously, Raegan served as the chief medical officer of Planned Parenthood of Maryland and Planned Parenthood Federation of America. Raegan has participated in several international public health projects in Latin America and Sub-Saharan Africa. She is a graduated fellow of the Physicians for Reproductive Health Leadership and Training Academy.

Raegan is a founding board member of Dr. Shalon’s Maternal Action Project, a nonprofit dedicated to highlighting and addressing maternal health disparities. Raegan also served on the board of directors for HealthCare Access Maryland and is an active member of her community.

Raegan earned her bachelor’s degree in African Studies, graduating with highest honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She received her medical degree from the Perelman school of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and completed her postdoctoral training in obstetrics and gynecology at New York University Grossman School of Medicine. She also completed a specialized fellowship in family planning at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine during which she obtained her Master’s in Public Health from the Bloomberg School of Public Health.

Raegan was a 2014 recipient of the Daily Record’s Leading Women Award as well as a 2016 recipient of Ebony Magazine’s Power 100 award. Raegan is a Fellow of the third class of the Health Innovators Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
