
Dr. Pitou Devgon is a physician-entrepreneur and seasoned healthcare investor. He was a co-founder of Velano Vascular, Inc., and is the named inventor on its patented vascular device technology. During his tenure at Velano, he held several executive positions — including President, Chief Medical Officer, and Chief Innovation & Strategy Officer — as the company scaled to serve nearly 70 hospital customers with a staff of close to 40, before being acquired by Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD) in 2021.
Following the exit of Velano, Dr. Devgon has focused his energies on early-stage healthcare ventures, serving as an angel investor, board member, and advisor to startups. Concurrently, he shares his expertise by lecturing on healthcare entrepreneurship at Wharton.
