Paul Walters brings his extensive, multi-disciplinary experience to organizations across CFAR’s family enterprise and owner-led business, healthcare, higher education, and non-profit practices. Paul spent 10 years in the nonprofit sector supporting, managing, and leading teams both domestically and in emerging markets in Asia, Africa, and Central America. Paul spent an additional seven years consulting for Gallup and Deloitte, strengthening an expertise in organizational development, leadership and management, executive coaching, performance management, culture, employee engagement, change management and strategy. Paul also served as an executive coach, facilitating the development of over 500 leaders in addition to delivering keynote addresses for high-profile clients and events.
As a consultant, Paul takes an individualized and strengths-based approach to each client engagement and coaching assignment. A trusted advisor, he creates impact by truly partnering with clients in understanding their unique needs and challenges to create tailored, practical solutions.
Paul holds a BA in Psychology and English from the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University, and a Master’s in Public Policy from the University of Minnesota’s Humphrey School of Public Affairs. Paul earned a certificate in Cooperative Development from the University of Missouri and is an International Coaching Federation-certified executive coach. Paul is also certified in CliftonStrengths, Hogan and Business Chemistry psychometric assessments, and 360 coaching.

Jennifer Tomasik, SM, FACHE, Vice President and Principal, CFAR
Jennifer Tomasik, Vice President and Principal, is a second-generation owner of CFAR and serves as a member of the firm’s Board of Directors. She is skilled at creating and directing processes that clarify strategy, solve complex organizational challenges, ensure sustainable implementation, and build effective leaders and teams. Her approach blends qualitative methods and quantitative analytics, with an emphasis on communication and collaboration, enabling people to discuss their most pressing issues in a safe and productive environment. She is a recognized expert at large group event design and facilitation.
While Jennifer leads CFAR’s Healthcare practice, she has had the privilege of working with mission-oriented leaders across many industries for more than two decades. She is a deep believer in the power of systems-thinking and the role of active engagement of people across all levels of an organization to shape, own, and contribute to their strategic future. Jennifer is proficient at bringing stakeholders together in ways that bridge the organizational and professional boundaries that often impede productive dialogue and strategic change. She helps her clients move from ideas to action, whether that be through individual or team-based coaching or leading large-scale strategy and change work.
Jennifer is an experienced speaker and author, and has presented to numerous client audiences, including the American College of Healthcare Executives, the Association of American Medical Colleges, the American Hospital Association, and the American Organization for Nursing Leadership, among others. Her published work has appeared in the Wharton Healthcare Quarterly, Healthcare Executive, the American Journal of Medicine, and several books focused on population health and healthcare management. Her publication, Lessons from the Field: Promising Interprofessional Collaboration Practices, was produced as the result of a Robert Wood Johnson Foundation project that she led to identify effective interprofessional collaboration practices that create a culture of health and improve patient-centered care.
Jennifer is deeply committed to improving healthcare, leadership, and education in her home state of Rhode Island, where she resides with her husband and daughters. She is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and was elected to represent the state on ACHE’s national Board of Regents. In 2011, she won the Regent Award for Early Careerist from the American College of Healthcare Executives Rhode Island (ACHERI), where she serves as a member of the Board. She is the Immediate-Past President of the Board of Trustees of the French American School of Rhode Island, where she led strategic planning, search, transition, and governance efforts. Jennifer serves on the Board of the Rhode Island Public Health Institute and is a member of the Omicron II class of Leadership Rhode Island.
She earned a BA in American Studies from Tufts University, as well as an MS in Health Policy and Management from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and is certified as a Predictive Index Practitioner.

Jason Pradarelli, MD, MS, Manager, CFAR
A surgeon by training, Jason Pradarelli approaches his work with analytic rigor and strong intuition, keenly attuned to the interpersonal and team dynamics in organizations. Above all things a learner, Jason works with his clients to understand complex problems and resolve dilemmas that get in the way of organizational excellence. He is particularly passionate about leadership development within organizations, culture change, and strategy development and implementation.
A prolific writer and researcher, Jason has published over 30 peer-reviewed articles and has authored several scientific book chapters and commentaries in lay media. He has held fellowships and other positions with a number of distinguished research centers, including Ariadne Labs (Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and Brigham and Women’s Hospital), the Center for Healthcare Outcomes and Policy (University of Michigan), and the Dardinger Center for Neuro-Oncology and Neurosciences (Ohio State University). His most recent roles include Medical Director for the Academy for Surgical Coaching (a non-profit dedicated to establishing a national network for surgeons to implement coaching for performance improvement) and leadership coach with Wellesley Partners.
Jason has five years of experience as a general surgery resident at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. He earned an MD with Distinction in Research and a Master of Science in Clinical Research, both from the University of Michigan. Jason completed his undergraduate studies at the Ohio State University in the Biomedical Science program.
