Oanh Kieu Nguyen, M.D., M.A.S. is an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine and Clinical Sciences at the UT Southwestern Medical Center. She is a practicing general internist, with a clinical focus in hospital medicine, and is a health services researcher. Her research focuses on the quality and value of health care delivery, particularly for at-risk and underserved populations. She received her medical degree from the University of California, San Diego and completed her residency in internal medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. She then completed a primary care research fellowship and obtained a Master of Advanced Study (M.A.S.) in Clinical Research from the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Nguyen also currently serves as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Hospital Medicine.
