Mike Han is Chief Medical Officer of Ambience Healthcare, the leading platform for AI-enabled care delivery. Today, Ambience's AI platform spans outpatient, emergency, and inpatient settings across more than 200 specialties — embedded directly in major EHRs and trusted by leading health systems including Cleveland Clinic, Mayo Clinic, Houston Methodist, and Memorial Hermann Health System. Ambience has raised $343M and is backed by Oak HC/FT, Andreessen Horowitz, OpenAI Startup Fund, and Kleiner Perkins.
Mike is a board-certified urologist and clinical informaticist. Prior to his current role at Ambience, he served as the Chief Medical Information Officer for MultiCare, where he led applications, informatics, and training. He drove physician satisfaction with the EHR from the 30th percentile to the 70th percentile and completed a three-way bake-off between leading ambient clinical documentation vendors. Prior to MultiCare he served multiple clinical and informatics leadership roles within Providence.
Mike holds an M.D. from the University of Michigan, an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and completed his undergraduate studies at Brown University.
