Melinda deHoll, MSN, FACHE, AIGP (Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional), is founder and principal of Nova Praxis, a national advisory practice at the intersection of clinical AI governance, healthcare leadership, and organizational transformation. She advises health system executives, boards, and health technology companies on how clinical AI is governed, adopted, and scaled, and on what it takes for a care delivery organization to become genuinely AI-native. Behind that work are close to three decades in one of the nation's largest integrated health systems, in national leadership roles across operations, access, and workforce development. Her practice today spans both public and private sectors.
She is co-architect of an award-winning AI prototype for record summarization and triage that embeds clinical decision support in the flow of work, pre-empts denials, and returns thousands of clinical hours to direct patient care. She is the author of Leading AI Adoption in Healthcare: AI Doesn't Adopt Itself (Echelon Press, 2026), a Harvard Kennedy School Senior Executive Fellow, and an inaugural fellow of the VHA Venture Studio.
