Maria became the global head of ZS’s pharmaceutical and biotech practice in 2021. Previously, she led ZS’s oncology and specialty therapeutics area, working with over 20 companies a year and building a team that supports around 90 percent of all oncology launches today. She has been at the center of ZS’ work and expertise in Cell & Gene therapies, orphan & rare disease, biosimilars, and is part of ZS’ overarching healthcare leadership team. She is published and frequently comments in the media on the issues of the day. In 2015, Consulting Magazine recognized Maria as one of the most influential practitioners in the consulting profession. She is a past president and former board member of the Wharton Healthcare Management Alumni Association.
