Laura is the Director of Strategic Planning in the Department of Neurology at UCLA’s David Geffen School of Medicine. There she works with the 100+ faculty and 600+ trainees and staff to reach the department’s goals in the areas of clinical care, education, research and culture.
Since graduating from the Healthcare Management program in ’93, Laura has been involved in a variety of careers and endeavors, including healthcare management consulting, independent consulting in time management and goal achievement, CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) advocating for foster youth, and house flipping and restoration.
In her spare time (of which there is a lot during quarantine with three relatively grown children) she enjoys being part of the Wharton Healthcare Management Alumni Association Board, playing golf with her husband and friends, training for the Grand Canyon Rim to Rim hike, and doing jigsaw puzzles (see “quarantine” above).
