Katie’s personal mission is to help create exceptional healthcare experiences with patients, ultimately leading to better outcomes and improved lives. Currently Katie serves as Vice President, Patient Engagement and Customer Solutions (PECS) and heads up a new commercial business unit responsible for driving a substantial transformation of Janssen’s patient support experience. Her team continuously analyzes the dynamics occurring in the marketplace, connecting with deep patient insights to develop new, meaningful approaches and services that will enhance each patient’s experience with Janssen’s medicines to help them achieve their best possible outcome.

In Katie’s previous role as Vice President of Clinical Insights and Experiences, she built and led the functions that today are responsible for curating clinical trial insights, managing strategy and deployment for Janssen’s best-in-class investigator and patient clinical trial experience. As a founding member of Janssen’s Patient Engagement Leadership Team, she helped design and embed Janssen’s differentiated approach to patient engagement across the enterprise by systematically including patients and caregivers throughout the medical product development process, from discovery through commercialization. Katie has also served as the Executive Sponsor of Janssen’s Direct to Participant Program, which is making clinical trials more accessible and convenient through the creation and implementation of innovative capabilities that integrate participation in clinical trials with the volunteer’s everyday life.

Earlier Katie served as Senior Director, Head Investigator and Patient Engagement, Global Clinical Operations; Director, Patient Solutions & Systems, Neuroscience Systems of Care for INVEGA SUSTENNA® and INVEGA TRINZA®; Director, Global Head of Trial Supply Management; Associate Director, Program Management; and Manager of Global Clinical Supplies responsible for the XARELTO®, VELCADE®, TOPAMAX® and NATRECOR® clinical programs.
