Opportunities and Challenges in Recruiting and Talent Acquisition for Healthcare and Life Sciences in the COVID Era
with featured speakers Tim Gordon, Managing Partner, Aequitas Partners and Molly Robb, Managing Director, BioQuest (A Diversified Search Company)
COVID-19 has turned the healthcare and life sciences industry upside down, with companies operating remotely, including for all aspects of how they find, recruit, hire, manage, and retain top talent. While trying to figure out how to execute on a remote hiring plan, healthcare and life science companies have experienced record funding over the past year, leading to a massive and immediate need for new talent, with more jobs than people to fill them. In this ultra-competitive, fast-paced, mostly remote recruiting environment, how do you find and land a great job in an exploding market?
Join us for a wide-ranging discussion on the opportunities and challenges for recruiting and talent acquisition in the current environment. Topics to be addressed include, but will not be limited to:
- Where are the most active areas of hiring in healthcare and life sciences?
- Which candidates are most successful in the current environment and why?
- What are some of the nuances in the hiring process among industry segments?
- What are some of the challenges created by a mostly remote recruiting process?
- What will the “new normal” look like for recruiting and talent acquisition post-COVID?
