Digital Revolution in Healthcare Virtual Panel

Chris Brandt is the CEO of Audacious Inquiry (Ai) and oversees client services, portfolio planning, product development, and operations. In 2004 he founded the company with a mission to use information technology as a change-agent for positive impact. Chris led the effort to become one of the first recognized B Corporations in Maryland; integrating the company’s values with the work it takes on has resulted in a greater footprint and alignment with clients’ goals. Through his role in driving the company’s growth over the years, Ai has been consistently recognized in Inc. 5000’s list of America’s fastest growing private companies, and in 2014, Chris was named Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young for the Maryland Region. Outside of Ai, Chris serves on the St. Joseph Medical System board of directors and the Baltimore County Economic Development Advisory Board. Prior to founding Ai, Chris held various information technology positions with Prudential. He holds an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and an AB in computer science from Duke University.

Dr. Sunil Budhrani, a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician, is the Chief Executive Officer of Innovation Health. He joined the organization in May 2016 as the Chief Medical Officer and took on the additional role of CEO in early 2019. Over the span of his career, Sunil practiced at several leading institutions including Inova Health System in Falls Church, Virginia; Good Samaritan Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Florida; Hackensack Meridian Health in New Jersey; and Baystate Medical Center in Massachusetts. In addition to his roles in hospital settings, Sunil also founded CareClix Telemedicine, a national end-to-end telemedicine solutions company as well as PrimeMed Urgent Care Systems, which operated urgent care facilities throughout the metropolitan Washington D.C. area. He also served as the CMO of the Affordable Care Act’s Health Plan, Evergreen Health Care. Sunil graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania with Bachelor of Arts degrees in Neuroscience and English. He then completed his Medical degree and a Masters of Public Health degree at George Washington University. He is currently a Clinical Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine at George Washington University.

Lisa Katzman has over 20 years of marketing communications experience, including product marketing and management, editorial and writing communications, pricing, market research and analysis, event management and fundraising. In the past, she has held product management and consulting positions at MCI Telecommunications, Toyota Motor Sales, USA, and Booz Allen. As Marketing Director for Optisave, LLC she oversees marketing operations and online presence. She has a BA in English from the University of Pennsylvania, with a minor in Marketing from The Wharton School, and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

 

Genevieve Morris is the founder of Integral Health Strategies (IHS), which provides health IT policy and strategy consulting services to the industry. Prior to starting IHS, she most recently served as the Chief Health Information Officer (CHIO) for the Veteran Administration’s Office of EHR Modernization on a detail from HHS, where she served as the Principal Deputy National Coordinator for Health IT at ONC. In her time at ONC, Ms. Morris led the development of the Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement, an effort to create a single agreement between health information networks, enabling nationwide interoperability. Most notably, Ms. Morris supported the development of the Shared Nationwide Interoperability Roadmap, including writing and editing portions of the roadmap. This important document provides guidance to all health IT stakeholders on the actions that must be taken in order to achieve a truly interoperable learning health system. In addition to her work, Ms. Morris is currently a candidate for the House of Representatives for Maryland’s 2nd District. Ms. Morris holds a Master’s degree in political science from Temple University and a Bachelor’s degree in history education from Northland International University.
