Erin M. Duffy and Taylor Hertzler

 

Erin M. Duffy is vice chair of the firm's Health Law Practice Group. Ms. Duffy concentrates her practice on corporate healthcare regulatory matters. She advises clients, including hospitals, medical practices, pharmacies, pharmaceutical companies, medical device manufacturers, and contract service providers on a wide range of transactional and healthcare regulatory issues, including fraud and abuse, self-referral, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement, corporate practice of medicine, privacy, fee-splitting prohibitions, and licensure issues. She is also experienced in handling healthcare information technology matters. Ms. Duffy draws on her years of experience and deep understanding of the healthcare industry to counsel her clients on the business impact of the legal issues at stake. Ms. Duffy is a graduate of Temple University Beasley School of Law and St. Joseph's University.

Taylor J. Hertzler practices in the area of health law. He advises providers, hospitals, and other healthcare entities on regulatory concerns including state licensure, federal kickback issues, Medicare and Medicaid rules, and FDA matters. Mr. Hertzler also has experience working in insurance litigation.

Mr. Hertzler is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School and Westminster College. He also has a Certificate in Biomedical Informatics from the University of Pennsylvania's Perelman School of Medicine.
