Delphine is founder and Chair of the Women’s Health Industry practice group at Bochner Law – the only legal team uniquely dedicated to the women’s healthcare sector, its laws, and public policy that directly impacts industry. Delphine is also a lead partner in Portfolia, the investing funds designed for the world's most powerful community of women investors which has invested $65 million into women's health companies and solutions. In addition to her legal practice and VC role, Delphine is CEO of 8Fold Inc., a strategic advisory firm to early stage health companies, and Adjunct Professor at Columbia Law School and focuses on the business of healthcare & the law and reproductive justice & the law.
As growth in the women’s health industry continues to accelerate, Delphine’s deep experience in areas along the healthcare continuum makes her uniquely able to address the full array of legal issues that confront healthcare companies of all sizes and stages of development. Whether acting as trusted legal advisor to institutional investors, employers, health systems, providers, or entrepreneurs, she continues to expand the mark she is known for - her passion and commitment to the industry.
Delphine is always advocating for ways to advance the healthcare industry and, to that end, built and led the first global legal practice focused on the women's health industry when she was a partner with Goodwin.
Prior to Goodwin, Delphine was Associate General Counsel of Ascension – one of the largest nonprofit health systems in the United States (nearly $30 billion in revenue), which operates more than 2,600 health care sites in 19 states and Washington, D.C., including 142 hospitals and 40 senior living facilities.
Widely recognized for her professional achievements, she is regularly named one of the nation’s top Health Care Law practitioners by Best Lawyers in America® and was nominated by The Financial Times for its 2023 awards honoring the most innovative lawyer and most innovative legal practice.
Due to her unique work where women’s health, innovation and policy come together, she is a sought-after speaker on inspiration & purpose, investment in women’s health, and the impact of healthcare policy/regulations on industry.
Delphine earned her Juris Doctorate from Columbia Law School where she was also a Harlan Stone Fiske Scholar, and her Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service, cum laude, from Georgetown University, and clerked for the United States District in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. She serves on the Board of the Columbia Law School Alumni Association and as Global Ambassador for The Invisible Girl Project – which is fighting to end gendercide around the world.
