Claire Malkin, WG'26 and Viviane Garth, WG'26

Claire is a second-year MBA candidate in Wharton’s Healthcare Management program. Prior to Wharton, Claire spent four years at Putnam Associates, where she advised pharmaceutical and biotech companies on commercial and market access strategy. Her project experience spanned across the product lifecycle and multiple therapeutic areas (oncology, vaccines, nephrology and rare disease.) This past summer, Claire interned at Genentech with the Global Product Strategy team, supporting early-stage strategic planning for a respiratory therapy. Claire also holds a BA in Biology from Cornell University.

Claire has been involved with Wharton Global Health Volunteers since the Fall 2024 semester, when she supported a project with CMMB Peru, a non-profit organization providing critical maternal and pediatric healthcare to underserved communities. She is currently the Co-President of WGHV, along with Viviane Garth.

Viviane is a second-year MBA candidate in Wharton’s Healthcare Management program. Prior to Wharton, she spent over two years at McKinsey & Company, where she advised provider and payer organizations on strategic initiatives and large-scale transformations. She began her career at Berkeley Research Group, supporting healthcare-focused private equity clients on commercial due diligence and regulatory outlook across Medicare and Medicaid.

In her first year at Wharton, Viviane was a member of Global Health Volunteers and worked with Almouneer, an eye health platform for patients with diabetes. The team focused on growth and partnership strategy for their patient engagement app, Dru. She previously interned at CanSupport, a palliative care NGO in Delhi, India. Viviane holds an AB in Public and International Affairs with a minor in Global Health from Princeton University.
