
Christina Liu is a global health and life sciences executive with more than 15 years of leadership across the pharmaceutical industry and global health. She is Founder of Castellis Health, which advises biopharmaceutical and global health organisations on artificial intelligence and commercial strategy, and serves as Health AI Board Advisor to BioLiterate.
At Novartis, Christina served as Chief of Staff to the President of Novartis Vaccines North America and later as Executive Director, Pandemic Preparedness, leading commercial launch readiness for the company's COVID-19 and antimicrobial resistance (AMR) portfolio. Across Roche/Genentech and Novartis, she also led launches in oncology and haematology, spanning both innovator and biosimilar medicines. At the World Health Organization in Geneva, she led the formation of WHO's first Technical Advisory Group on Market Access for Vaccines and served on the Secretariat of the World Local Production Forum, established under World Health Assembly resolution WHA74.6. She began her career in strategy consulting with L.E.K. Consulting.
Christina serves on the Board of the Wharton Health Care Alumni Association and is Life Sciences Track Lead for the 2026 Conference. A graduate of the Jerome Fisher Program in Management and Technology at the University of Pennsylvania, she holds a BSE in Biomedical Science and a BS in Economics, as well as an MBA from The Wharton School and a Master of Biotechnology from the University of Pennsylvania. She is based in Berlin.
