Arpan is a native Ohioan and a double board-certified psychiatry and addiction medicine physician. He ran the ambulatory substance use disorder services at Mount Sinai Hospital before stepping back from full-time clinical practice to come to Wharton.
Since business school, he has built and operated healthcare services companies. At CareMore he ran behavioral health nationally for a fully capitated, complex patient population. At Ro he helped build and launch the company's first direct-to-consumer mental health service line. In 2022 he joined SOL Mental Health, a PE-backed behavioral health platform, as CMO, where the business grew from 3 clinics and 30 clinicians to 30 clinics and 300 clinicians in 4 years.
Arpan is now co-founder and CEO of Kin Health, a category-defining consumer health AI company that publicly launched in May 2026. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife Ravali (also WG'20), daughter Kaia, and Goldendoodle Domino. He still sees patients in a small private practice, teaches residents and fellows at the Keck School of Medicine and UCLA Health, and advises early-stage healthcare companies and healthcare investors.
