Alisha serves as Mae’s Head of Growth. Mae is a culturally responsive digital first solution built to address the specific clinical, social, and cultural needs of underserved expectant mothers through a digital platform and community-based doula led model of support. Prior to Mae, Alisha spent the last 10 years focused on Medicaid strategy and value-based programs at United Healthcare / Optum, Evolent Health, and Magellan Complete Care (now a part of Molina Healthcare). Alisha started her career supporting access to reproductive, sexual, and maternal care for women in East Africa, Central Asia, and Southeast Asia. Alisha holds a BA in Women's Studies and Global Health from Emory University and a Masters of Science in Public Health from Harvard School of Public Health.
