Deepa Shah, WG’16 is Senior Vice President of Growth and Development at Connections Health Solutions, a behavioral health crisis services provider backed by Heritage Group. Deepa leads Connections’ payer strategy and relations, business development, strategic partnerships, real estate, and marketing functions.
Prior to her role at Connections, Deepa led payer strategy, business development, and risk contracting at Landmark Health, a national home-based medical group serving complex, chronic seniors and backed by General Atlantic. Prior to Landmark, Deepa worked at Northwell Health in New York implementing CMS bundled payment models and at The Permanente Medical Group in northern California, where she managed care coordination and quality operations regionally. Before her work with healthcare providers, Deepa was a management consultant providing advisory services to a variety of companies in healthcare, insurance, retail, and technology.
Deepa received her BA in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley and her MBA in Health Care Management from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Deepa currently serves as the chair of the Career Development Committee for the Wharton Health Care Management Alumni Association.
