The Wharton Health Care Club and the Wharton Student Initiative will be hosting the 28th annual Wharton Healthcare Business Conference taking place February 10-11, 2022 in Philadelphia (Check out the website whcbc.org!). The past two years have propelled health care innovation to new heights, and we are better equipped than ever before to apply science, technology, and data to solutions in health care. But our pace of innovation has not been matched by improvements in health equity. This year’s conference asks how can we work together to deliver high quality care and give everyone a Fair Shot at Health? Join us to exchange experiences across sectors and understand how key leaders are working to bring together innovation and equity.
Keynotes feature Jason Gorevic (CEO of Teladoc), Aida Habtezion (Chief Medical Officer and Head of Worldwide Medical & Safety, Pfizer), J. Nwando Olayiwola (SVP, Chief Health Equity Officer, Humana), and Andy Slavitt (Former Senior Advisor, White House Covid-19 Response). Additionally, we have seven panels of speakers spanning aspects of healthcare, such as price transparency, behavioral health, and transformations in digital health. This year will also be the return to an in-person conference, held at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel. We are committed to the safety of our attendees and will share more information soon on COVID safety protocols (e.g., proof of vaccination required). We will continue to monitor the evolving COVID situation and will consider virtual options, if required. Either way, it will be an event you won't want to miss!
