John Harris is a Director with Veralon Partners*, a healthcare management consulting firm. John is a frequent speaker on strategy, payer-provider alignment, and accountable care for several organizations, including the American Association of Integrated Health Delivery Systems and the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
John has also co-authored articles on innovative payment models in Futurescan 2015 and the journal Healthcare Financial Management, including “Choosing your Strategy for Value-based Competition,” “Finance Leadership Imperatives in Clinical Redesign,” and “The Transition to Emerging Revenue Models.”
He spends much of his time facilitating strategic discussions or designing financial arrangements between physicians, hospitals, and health plans seeking to improve quality and cost-effectiveness.
In addition to consulting, John’s 25 years of healthcare experience includes senior management positions with providers, health policy work, and the successful launch of a national health information storage and access company.
John has a BA from Dartmouth College and an MBA in Healthcare Management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
