Jeffrey Hulburt is an accomplished health care executive with more than 30 years’ experience in managed care, delivery systems, and health insurance.

As President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Beth Israel Deaconess Care Organization (BIDCO), a value-based physician and hospital network and Accountable Care Organization (ACO), Jeffrey is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the organization, including leading strategic plans to effectively manage cost trends, optimize health care quality, and expand its network of physicians and hospitals.

Jeffrey also serves as Board Chair and Director for the Riverside Community Care Board of Directors, Director of the Riverside Community Care Finance Committee, Advisory Board Member for the Northern Essex Community College Accountancy Program, and Member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association. He previously taught classes at Tufts Medical School and completed the America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) Executive Leadership Program.

Prior to being named President and CEO of BIDCO, Jeffrey served as BIDCO’s Interim President and CEO and Chief Financial Officer. Before joining BIDCO in 2013, Jeffrey was Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance at Network Health, a Tufts Health Plan subsidiary, where he was responsible for all financial functions within the organization, including accounting, accounts payable, actuarial analysis and medical economics. Previously, Jeffrey was at Harvard Pilgrim Health Care as Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis and as Director, Business Finance and Strategic Planning. Jeffrey has also held positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, South Coast Health System and Children’s Hospital Boston. 

Jeffrey earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts ‒ Boston and a Bachelor of Science in Cardiopulmonary Science from Boston University.
