Membership Promotion for WHCMAA and Wharton Club of New Jersey
We are pleased to announce an exciting new collaboration designed to better serve New Jersey's Wharton alumni in the healthcare industry!
The Wharton Healthcare Management Alumni Association (WHCMAA) and Wharton Club of New Jersey (WCNJ) are pleased to announce an exciting new collaboration designed to better serve New Jersey-based Wharton alumni by combining WHCMAA's targeted healthcare programming with WCNJ's frequency of local programming. The collaboration has three parts:
Dual membership pilot - For the months of July, August and September 2012, both clubs will be offering a "Dual New Jersey/Healthcare membership" for just $120. This one-year membership in both clubs represents a $45 discount off the cost of joining each club separately, and allows alumni to attend events from both clubs at the member price. We are starting with a 3-month pilot, and will evaluate whether/how to continue dual memberships going forward.
Joint events - WCNJ and WHCMAA are planning a regular series of joint healthcare events in the New Jersey area. We are currently planning a panel discussion later this year on health policy and delivery. Stay tuned for more details.
Coordinated programming communication - Both clubs are now coordinating closely on upcoming programming. This means that upcoming WHCMAA events will be advertised on the WCNJ calendar and event newsletters, and WCNJ events will be posted on WHCMAA's calendar of events. Joint Regular members of one club will be welcome to attend events hosted by the other club at the "guest" price, and in some cases even at the "member" price.
We are both very excited by this collaboration, and hope that our NJ-based alumni find it useful. Links to more detail on this program are included below, but please reach out to us with any comments, questions or suggestions
